IGF-LR3 (Insulin-like Growth Factor 1, Long Arg3) is a research-grade synthetic analogue of human IGF-1 modified with a 13-amino-acid N-terminal extension and an arginine substitution at position 3. These two modifications dramatically reduce affinity for IGF-binding proteins (IGFBPs), extending its functional half-life and increasing receptor availability in research settings. It is one of the most extensively studied IGF-1 analogues in cellular proliferation and anabolic signalling research.
